About the project

A creative everyday life for displaced populations

“Cultivating Futures for Migrants” is implemented by IASIS NGO and funded under the Greece–Switzerland Cooperation Programme (Second Swiss Contribution), under the supervision of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum.

The project addresses asylum seekers and unaccompanied minors residing in Safe Zones, Special Protection Units and specialised accommodation centres, as well as the staff working in these structures.

Athletic

Mobility and coordination exercises, physical release, games of speed, strategy and cooperation.

Recreational

Ice-breaker games that bring joy and strengthen the sense of belonging.

Emotional regulation

Creative workshops aiming at release, emotional understanding and balance.

Educational

Providing specialised training in soft skills and in the use of digital tools that open up new ways of learning and self-expression.

Professional development

CV preparation, job-search strategies and psychoeducational support.

Mobile Unit

Connect Crisis

The “Connect Crisis” mobile unit is activated at the request of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum, carrying out emergency and high-pressure interventions with organised activities to stabilise groups.

It also supports staff in managing group dynamics and provides guidance for continuing the activities. Goal: flexibility and immediate response across the country, using a common methodology that strengthens individuals’ mental resilience.
